XPeng to Dramatically Expand Global Reach With the New 2026 P7+ and P7+ EREV

XPeng has unveiled ambitious plans for its next major product expansion. The company confirmed that the XPeng P7 Plus will launch in 36 international markets, marking one of the brand’s most aggressive global rollouts to date.

The 2026 XPeng P7+ arrives with a refreshed design, 104 individual upgrades, and — for the first time — two powertrain strategies: a pure battery-electric version and a new extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) variant.

Two Versions: BEV and World-Leading EREV Range

The headline innovation is the introduction of the P7+ EREV, which pairs electric drive with a compact gasoline range extender.

According to XPeng:

Pure electric range (EREV): up to 430 km
Total combined range: up to 1,550 km

XPeng claims this is the longest electric-only range of any extended-range sedan in the world, directly addressing range anxiety in markets with limited charging infrastructure.

800V Architecture and Ultra-Fast Charging

The fully electric P7+ models also receive major technical upgrades:

Support for 5C ultra-fast charging on top-spec versions
- 30–80% charge in just 12 minutes
Other versions reach 30–80% in around 20 minutes

This places the P7+ among the fastest-charging electric sedans in its class.

Large, Aerodynamic, and Comfort-Focused

The 2026 XPeng P7+ is positioned as a large premium sedan with generous interior space:
