Pininfarina B95 Gotham New “Batman” Electric Hypercars Are the Stuff of Billionaire Dreams

Eyes on the prize, folks! Pininfarina, the legendary Italian design house, has just unveiled two new ultra-exclusive electric hypercars inspired by none other than Bruce Wayne himself – Batman. That’s right, the Battista and B95 are getting the ultimate billionaire playboy treatment with special “Dark Knight” and “Gotham” editions.

So what makes these cars worthy of striking fear into the hearts of Gotham’s criminal underworld (and your bank account)? Let’s take a closer look.

Pininfarina B95 Gotham The Unbelievable Performance

Before we even get to the Batman bits, these are some of the most insane performance EVs ever made:

  • Battista: 1,900 hp from four electric motors, 0-60 mph in less than 2 seconds, top speed over 220 mph
  • B95: 1,390 hp, 0-60 in 2.9 seconds, top speed 181 mph

Just imagine the look on the Penguin’s face as you blaze past in a blur of silent, electrified power. These are true four-wheeled rockets that would give even the most advanced Batmobile a run for its money.

Pininfarina B95 Gotham The Sinister Styling

Of course, you can’t call something “Dark Knight” inspired without some serious aesthetic upgrades. While the core designs remain the sleek, sensual Pininfarina creations we know and love, these special editions get some devilish new styling touches:

  • Dark Knight: Exposed signature carbon fiber body in Avionic Gray matte, anodized aluminum Batcchio wheels, carbon roof with glass panel
  • Gotham: Carbon body in Titan Batcchio Gray matte with Infor Red exterior accents, quilted Connolly leather cabin with tan accents

They look purposeful, menacing, and more than a little bit sinister – exactly what you’d expect from a set of wheels bearing the Bat Symbol. Park one of these things outside the abandoned Arkham Asylum and it would fit right in.

The Caped Crusader Comforts

While outward appearances are all brooding badass, the interiors are straight-up Batman luxury:

  • Bespoke aluminum Battista or B95 chassis plate with “Battista Anniversario” or “B95” script
  • Hand-painted pinstripe design and “Battista” lettering
  • NAIM Audio sound system
  • Alfred AI voice assistant for enhanced in-car controls and convenience

You can almost hear Bruce Wayne himself, sipping a martini and pondering the night’s dastardly deeds, when you slide behind the leather-wrapped wheel. Though for the reported €3.4 million (Battista) or €4.9 million (B95) price tags, Alfred better be able to suit me up and refuel the Batmobile at the touch of a button!

So Who Are These For?

Even if you have the financial means to buy one, actually getting your hands on a Battista or B95 of any kind is a near-impossible feat. Only 150 Battistas and 10 (yes, 10!) B95s will be produced in total.

The “Dark Knight” and “Gotham” special editions make that exclusivity factor even more extreme, with a mere 5 examples of each being built. So basically, they’re aimed at the most elite of the elite, deep-pocketed car collectors and investors.

That said, if you happen to be a billionaire industrialist vigilante who patrols the streets at night fighting crime and needs a devilishly fast and sinister set of wheels to strike fear into the hearts of evildoers, these could be the perfect rides. Just don’t expect much in the way of functional bat gadgets or armor. (C’mon Pininfarina, where’s the Kevlar bodywork and concealed grappling hooks?)

The Verdict

At the end of the day, the Pininfarina Battista and B95 “Dark Knight” and “Gotham” special editions are all about unabashed luxury, rarity, and showing off just how ludicrously wealthy you are. They’re the ultimate flex for those who have quite literally everything.

As automotive works of art and displays of cutting-edge electric performance, they’re absolutely breathtaking. That $3-5 million asking price is just…wow. If nothing else, at least it gives us non-billionaires something to drool over – just be sure to wipe up the puddles before they damage the paint!

So what do you think? Are these the ultimate Batman-inspired dream cars or a bit too “style over substance” for your taste? Let us know in the comments!
