Olivier Motor Co introduces the S222 Supermot and S222 Moto Cross electric motorcycles, offering unique features that distinguish them from other electric bikes available in the market. These motorcycles are tailored for distinct riding experiences, with the Supermot designed for urban use and the Moto Cross optimized for countryside adventures.

Both models boast lightweight and highly maneuverable designs, making them suitable for navigating city traffic or rough terrains. With their 4.3 kWh batteries, riders can enjoy a range of over 130 km on a single charge, striking a balance between weight and battery life. Olivier Motor Co utilizes high-energy density cells in their battery packs, ensuring optimal performance.

A notable feature of these motorcycles is the inclusion of a built-in gearbox and clutch, unusual for electric bikes. Coupled with a synchronous motor featuring internal permanent magnets and water cooling, the powertrain provides impressive torque and power. The motor is encased in a durable and lightweight aluminum casing, contributing to the overall performance of the motorcycles.

Transmission and Braking System

Both models come equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission and a multi-disc oil bath clutch, enhancing the riding experience. An advanced energy recovery system allows the batteries to recharge while decelerating or braking, offering strong engine braking similar to traditional motorcycles. The braking system includes floating discs and Nissin clamps, ensuring reliable stopping power.

Chassis and Suspension

The motorcycles feature a lightweight 6061 aluminum perimeter chassis, along with a Fastace inverted fork and a mono rear shock absorber, both adjustable for compression and rebound. This setup ensures optimal handling and stability, whether navigating city streets or tackling off-road trails.

Battery Technology and Charging

Olivier Motor Co takes pride in developing and producing its own batteries, ensuring high quality and reliability. The S222 models are equipped with a battery pack containing 270 high-density Molicel cells, securely housed within a waterproof aluminum box attached directly to the chassis. Charging the S222 is convenient, with support for up to 3.3 kW and compatibility with European public terminals and domestic EV charging stations.

Pricing and Availability

The Olivier S222 Supermot is priced at €17,594, while the S222 Moto Cross Electric is priced at €16,657. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in March 2024, offering riders the opportunity to experience the innovative features and performance capabilities of these electric motorcycles firsthand.
